In 2017, AMHA joined a national network of public housing authorities that dedicated themelves to bringing digital opportunity to their communities, known as ConnectHomeUSA. ConnectHome Akron is a collaboration between AMHA, HUD, and local community organizations that share the goal of bringing digital opportunity to Summit County, Ohio. This initiative is designed to bring affordable broadband access, electronic devices, technical training and other digital literacy programs to our community.
