Early Childhood Resource Center

The Early Childhood Resource Center offers referrals to licensed Temporary Pandemic Child Care Programs for parents and childcare centers during this time of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They also hold various Parent Education courses and support kindergarten readiness for families with preschool-aged children through SPARK.

Child Guidance & Family Solutions

Taking care of your own mental health during times of extreme change and stress is often overlooked by new parents. Child Guidance & Family Solutions is there for you during this time of transition. They offer various mental health services, such as group therapy, individual counseling, and crisis intervention. They also offer programs for those with young children, such as The Incredible Years, which focuses on forming bonds with children from birth to age 8, and Parenting Wisely, a parenting skills education program.

Pregnancy Choices

Pregnancy Choices is here for you as you navigate the trials of pregnancy and parenthood. They offer diapers or formula after each visit with a client advocate, provide free maternity and infant care items to mothers and fathers in need, and offer infant clothes (up to 18 months). They also have a host of services, such as a mom and dad support group, Earn and Learn programs, and more.

Birthing Beautiful Communities

Beautiful Communities is a Village of birth workers, or doulas, supporting women who are at the highest risk for infant mortality during the perinatal period. Birthing Beautiful Communities provides free neighborhood-based services, including childbirth and parenting education, classes on bonding with your baby, and more. They also offer perinatal support training for support during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
We hope that these resources provide you with the needed material to make the best decisions for you and your growing family. Having a baby is a beautiful, and sometimes even scary, chapter in your life. It's okay to need assistance. These organizations and more want to help--after all, it takes a village sometimes!
